Using plastic animal in crafts have been very popular for awhile now. I created some
jars a few years and I’ve seen some fun and creative projects on Pinterest.

This is a quick and easy project that your little crafters can make or help with. All you need are discount or dollar store plastic animals, craft paint, glitter, Mod Podge, glue and decorative paper or tape. Oh, and a plastic jar.

Start by eating all the chocolate peanut clusters that come in these large plastic jars. Rinse your jar and dry. Adults can cut a slit in the top of the plastic lid with a craft knife. If there are any jagged edges use a nail file to smooth out. Choose your paint color and apply a few coats.

Coat your plastic pigs in Mod Podge or glue and cover in glitter. I used Martha Stewart Glitter in Amethyst.

As an option, add a strip of Washi Tape around the rim of the jar top for an extra pop of color.

Once the glitter is set, glue your pigs onto the jar lid.

Once everything is set and dry, start saving your coins.
Before you know it, your Piggy Piggy Bank will be full!
