The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~62~

Happy Friday everyone! Summer is winding down – how did it fly by so fast? We’ve been watching the Olympics, getting ready for back-to-school and enjoying the great weather. I hope your days have been carefree and full of summer fun.

Thank you to everyone who linked up a project on the Inspiration Board this week. All the projects were wonderful! Here are a few in the spotlight this week.

The-Silly-Pearl-Vintage-Pyrex-Inspir[1]
The Silly Pearl found inspiration through her vintage Pyrex collection and used fabric cutouts to “Pyrex” her mixer. A beautiful collection of Pyrex and now a fun mixer to match. Have you found any Pyrex treasure at your local thrift store? Grab it while you can – it’s become oh-so trendy again.

lladybugs7border2
A fun ladybug cupcake bite by The Seven Year Cottage. Yummy vibrant sugar crystals and candy make this cupcake extra sweet! What kid wouldn’t love to gobble up a few of these bugs.

BoysClockEdit11
I love these old fashioned bell alarm clocks. This one originally had a puppy dog face but Love Grows Wild worked some magic so it matches her kids’ bedroom décor. I’m thinking I need one of these for my son. He loves the snooze button on his digital alarm way too much.

You’ll never believe what these pink roses are made from. Plastic spoons – amazing! Check out the tutorial on Krafty Kat to learn how to make these pretty flowers.

coco scrub 5
Coconut sugar scrub makes a sweet bridal shower party favor. And Jacolyn Murphy sweetens it up even more with a rock sugar candy stick and pretty packaging.

rootbeer-cupcakes
The old fashioned root beer float meets the cupcake. How adorable are these? Beautifully presented Root Beer Float cupcakes by Country Momma Cooks complete with a straw.

What a cute back-to-school breakfast by Diary of a Wanna Be Domestic Diva. So many cute table details. I’m feeling a little guilty about the frozen waffle I usually toss at my son as we dash out the door.

Lowri EE File Folder Album 1
A mini album by the very talented Paper Vine. This album is loaded with unique and pretty embellishments and holds photos from a special day. Little details like a magnet to ensure that it lays flat are what makes Paper Vine so special.

IMG_4014
Such a pretty furniture makeover by Reposhture. The cherry blossom design was masked off before the paint makeover so it resembles inlaid wood. So pretty! Cherry blossoms, chalk paint, silver details – three of my favorite things.

I am in love with this picture by Candace Creations. The project is a darling reversible apron dress and the little model watering the garden is absolutely precious.
