Little Crafts: healthy advent calendar

I’m a little tardy with my advent calendar this year but this project is very simple to make and requires hardly any preparation.

It’s always fun to add little notes into your kids’ lunch bag and this incorporates the little note and the advent calendar.

Type up your advent numbers and notes. Since it’s an advent calendar, the notes are coupons good for a fun item or treat.

Wrap up an apple or other favorite fruit in parchment paper and tie it all together with twine and your advent calendar number and coupon.

Hopefully, they’ll eat the apple and save the coupon.

Let the countdown begin. Happy December 1st!

  2. I love this idea, and yes, it's so much healthier than my Trader Joe chocolate Advent calendars.

  3. Looks so elegant, and I love that it is healthy, doesn't cost a lot of money, and doesn't make it so you wind up with a bunch of useless throwaway toys:)

    I am pinning this.

  5. Love the healthy play-they look too gorgeous to eat! (Although I don't think my husband who is a big kid at heart would like the healthy twist--he likes his daily sweet treats in the month of December)! lol.
