Celebrations: Paper Flower Party Favors

Paper Flower Favors 8Many of you know my love for the dollar store. I find some of the best little goodies in those stores. I recently found packs of these beautiful paper flowers.

Paper Flower Favors 9They are really nice quality. Thick paper in beautiful shades of green and yellow and gold and orange.

Paper Flower Favors 2I topped off some cute party favors with the flowers. These are super quick and easy to make.

Paper Flower Favors 3Start with toilet paper, paper towel or gift wrap paper tubes. Cut the tubes into 2 inch lengths. Wrap the tubes in pretty paper that is at least 1 inch longer on each end. I chose tissue paper printed like book pages. You can use plain colored tissue paper, crepe paper or any other light weight paper. Once the paper is rolled around the tube a few times use a small piece of tape to secure it. Tuck in the bottom edges and secure with tape. Fill your tubes with mints or other small candies.

Paper Flower Favors 4Tie a pretty piece of ribbon around each tube.

Paper Flower Favors 10Fold the top edge down and secure with tape. Top with a pretty flower.

Paper Flower Favors 1For a budget-friendly wedding table favor, use white tissue paper and a white or pale flower. I think they’d look so pretty at all the round tables at a wedding reception.
Thanks for visiting.

  3. They are beautiful!
Is the bottom of the tube just tissue papers and tapes? I would like to fill them up with candies!

    2. I had sent Annie an email with my reply but I'll reply here in case others have the same question. Yes, the bottom is just tissue paper and tape but I rolled the tissue paper around the tube about 3 times so between the layers of tissue paper and the tape it was fine for my small amount of candy. You may want to reinforce it with a circular piece of paper before wrapping the tissue paper if you are using heavier candy. Thanks for visiting.

  7. Another fun idea is to grow a pet TickleMe Plant in the TickleMe Plant party favor and watch how the leaves fold and the branches droop when you Tickle It!
