A few weeks ago I featured this adorable fringed baby quilt by Sumo’s Sweet Stuff.
Since I don’t have any friends having babies, I used her tutorial to give new life to a kitchen towel.
I cut fabric strips a little wider than the towel and sewed them together. For this project, you sew the wrong sides together. If you sew, you automatically pin and sew right sides together so you have to keep reminding yourself.
Once the pieces were sewn together, I cut the seams to fringe them. Sumo’s Sweet Stuff has a great tutorial with pictures on this process, so head over there if you want to make one.
From almost a dust rag to a new kitchen towel.
