Inkling: air mail envelopes

I found a box of air mail envelopes recently and used them to make a few goodies.

I love the graphics on air mail envelopes, especially vintage air mail envelopes and stamps. For these projects, I used new envelopes but you could just as easily do a variety of crafts using vintage air mail graphics.

These little tags are easy to make using just a few envelopes.

Cover a small gift box – this little 2 inch box is a perfect size for party favors or a small, precious gift.
Air mail envelopes rolled up can be used as an invitation or a fun way to announce an event.

Use pieces of the envelope to embellish a jar to hold your stamps.

I hope you enjoyed these “par avion” crafts.

Please join me tomorrow for The Inspiration Board Link Party and let me know what you’ve been working on.
