Celebrations: father’s day coffee sampler

If dad doesn’t need another tie or tool, here’s a little gift that he may enjoy.

Assemble a coffee sampler gift box just for dad.

For this gift box, I made miniature coffee bags out of kraft paper. I glued the bottom and sides together using a glue stick. Each bag is filled with a one-pot portion of a different blend of coffee.

The tops are folded down and held together with a wire twist tie that I covered in masking tape. Now they look just like the bags of coffee you purchase at gourmet coffee houses.

I printed out fun labels for each bag; Big Daddy Kona, Manly Mocha Java, Perfect Pop Jamaican, Excellent Dad Espresso, and Father’s French Roast.

I had the perfect size box for my coffee bags and covered it in a coffee-brown pinstripe fabric.

Add a mug, coffee cozy or coffee gift card for an extra special gift. After all, dad deserves it.

Dandy Dad coffee names too :)

Do you have instructions or a pattern to make the Kraft bags, and/or making a box to cover in fabric?

    Thanks!

    1. eeek. I don't have a pattern for the bags. I made this project so long ago that I can't quite remember how I made the bags. I know I studied an already-made bag and sort of followed the basic pattern. I used glue stick to assemble it and twist ties at the top to fold it down. Sorry...
